The role

Perform electrical and basic mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of conveyor belt systems and related equipment in mining and heavy industrial settings.
Read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, motor controls, starters, VFDs, PLC interfaces, and safety interlocks.
Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operation.
Accurately document all service, inspection, and maintenance activities to meet regulatory requirements and maintain logs and work orders.
Promote a zero-incident safety culture by performing pre-operational inspections, LOTO procedures, guarding, housekeeping, and returning equipment to service only when safe.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid journeyman electrician card, MSHA electrical card, 4+ years of industrial electrical experience (mining preferred), and ability to work underground, on surface, and travel up to 30%.
