The role
As a Staff Software Engineer, ML Search, you will design and own end-to-end ML pipelines, data flows, and low-latency services that power Reddit's search and discovery.
You will build and maintain ranking and retrieval systems that run models in real time and integrate them into production APIs.
You will create reusable infrastructure for other ML engineers to train, deploy, and iterate on models.
You will ensure scalability, reliability, and operational excellence while supporting high-throughput data processing.
You will work across teams on large-scale projects with complex dependencies and contribute to system design and implementation.
