The role
Lead the electrical engineering design of hydropower projects from feasibility through commissioning, including generators, control and instrumentation, protection, substations and transmission lines.
Model, analyze, and optimize electrical systems to ensure project feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to deliver an integrated project design.
Provide line management for select team members, contribute to business growth, and own project deliverables.
Engage with grid upgrade initiatives and the broader transmission and distribution teams on significant projects.
Deliver clear technical presentations to clients and design engineers and lead collaborative design reviews.
