The role
A global leader in digital transformation seeks a Database Administrator with PostgreSQL and Oracle experience to manage application data stores across multiple environments. The role involves maintaining database performance, migration of data structures, and managing security controls including roles and permissions. Collaboration with development teams and data scientists is essential for defining and implementing data models supporting various data sources. Candidates should possess strong data modelling skills, experience with clustering and extensions such as pgvector, PostGIS, and AGE, and familiarity with Oracle or MSSQL. The role requires SC clearance as a minimum, with DV clearance preferred, and candidates must have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 5-7 years. The position is based in Corsham with hybrid work options within England.
