The role
Lead and accelerate adoption of GenAI for science workflows across research teams worldwide, focusing on GPU-accelerated computing, machine learning, and deployment of GenAI models.
Debug, profile, and optimize GenAI workloads; identify bottlenecks and propose scalable improvements.
Translate customer needs into actionable feedback for engineering, shaping GenAI software for science research and discovery.
Lead and participate in hands-on GenAI hackathons/workshops to drive adoption in the scientific community.
Communicate effectively in Japanese and English, and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
Preferred qualifications include PhD or Masters in CS or Applied Math and 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML experience with PyTorch, C++, and Python; deep knowledge of GPT-x, Llama, and MoE architectures.
