The role
Coordinate long-haul freight operations, scheduling and dispatching drivers to ensure on-time delivery.
Track shipments in the Transportation Management System (TMS) and provide proactive updates to customers and stakeholders.
Communicate with drivers to support routes, resolve issues, and maintain DOT compliance.
Optimize routes and loads to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation such as bills of lading, delivery records, and driver logs.
Collaborate with internal teams and carriers to meet delivery requirements and ensure safety and regulatory standards.
