The role
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to advance geospatial AI-driven data extraction.
You will research and implement computer vision and AI techniques to detect and extract real-world objects from 360-degree imagery, video, LiDAR point clouds, and oriented imagery for authoritative GIS datasets.
Work with modern CV models such as YOLO, SAM, and DINO and adapt them for geospatial workflows.
Design and build scalable software using computer vision against diverse data sources, and integrate AI/ML models into production environments ensuring performance and accuracy.
Collaborate with researchers and product engineers in an Agile Scrum environment to ensure code quality, portability, and maintainability.
Evaluate new AI/ML methods and contribute to system architecture for high-performance geospatial applications.
