The role
Lead the design and execution of an exabyte-scale data lake storage platform, owning the long-term technical vision and roadmap.
Coordinate with stakeholders and partner teams to architect data lake storage and metadata management enabling big data and ML/AI initiatives.
Drive engagement with open source communities (Iceberg, Spark, Flink) to address scaling challenges and influence core projects.
Ensure high quality, reliability, and polished deliveries through disciplined engineering practices and governance.
Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering growth, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
Balance technology strategy with pragmatic delivery to scale production systems and unlock data-driven insights.
