The role
Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates by reviewing plans, specs, and blueprints.
Perform thorough quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to define project scope and requirements.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while upholding quality.
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals with clear costs, timelines, and assumptions to win opportunities.
Monitor costs during construction to ensure budgets are met, support contract management, and maintain documentation.
