A Senior AI Engineer is sought for a high-growth e-commerce group in Birmingham, focused on deploying AI and automation across its operations. The role involves designing, building, and implementing AI solutions using modern large language models such as OpenAI and Anthropic/Claude, to enhance efficiency and customer experience. The engineer will collaborate with various business units to identify challenges and develop AI-powered workflows, tools, and integrations with SaaS platforms through APIs and automation tools. They will develop proof of concepts, evaluate new AI models, and iterate solutions to generate tangible commercial value. Candidates should have experience with AI frameworks, extensive Python or JavaScript skills, and a product-focused mindset.
