Le poste
A Senior Civil Engineer is sought in Birmingham to lead civil and structural engineering projects related to transmission and distribution infrastructure. The role involves managing design, analysis, and consultancy services for substations, overhead lines, and underground cables, ensuring compliance with UK standards such as BS, Eurocodes, and ENA. The successful candidate will approve designs, conduct technical reviews, and support quality assurance in accordance with CDM Regulations. They will also mentor junior engineers, support business growth efforts, and develop innovative engineering methodologies using BIM tools like Revit, Civil 3D, and Tekla Tedds. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with a minimum of 7 years' experience in civil/structural design. Desirable qualifications include professional registration and health and safety certifications relevant to the sector.
