A chemical engineer in Southampton will support projects and process modifications, ensuring safety and operational excellence on an Upper Tier COMAH site. The role involves driving process safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, along with monitoring key performance indicators. Candidates should have a degree in chemical engineering or a related field, with at least five years' experience in chemical manufacturing. The position requires strong knowledge of process safety, plant optimisation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with plant modifications, process enhancement projects, and familiarity with COMAH regulations are essential.
