A personal care assistant in the UK provides support to individuals with disabilities or dementia, assisting with personal care, community outings, and daily tasks. The role requires patience, understanding, and experience in dementia care, with a focus on companionship and mobility support. Candidates should be prepared to support with medication management, moving and handling, and transporting service users.
