Senior Software Engineer — AI/ML

As a Software Engineer on the Evaluation Engineering team, you will design and operate large-scale AI/ML systems powering research workloads and production benchmarks. You will build distributed back-end services, data management workflows, and scalable storage to enable high-quality post-training datasets. You will integrate next-generation agent and foundation-model technologies, developing evals, prompting, and agent scaffolding. You will ship robust, cloud-native components with emphasis on performance, reliability, and observability. This hybrid role requires collaborating with product managers, engineers, and field teams to deliver impactful multi-person projects and maintain strong client-focused outcomes. The role is hybrid with three in-office days per week in San Francisco or Redwood City.
