Le poste
Lead electrical design for grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), developing conceptual layouts, one-line diagrams, and Issue For Construction packages.
Evaluate storage technologies and vendors, supporting technology selection and client-driven use-case implementation across centralized and distributed deployments.
Develop and review electrical design plans, specifications, and construction documents at multiple milestones, coordinating with civil, FLS, high-voltage, SCADA/telecom, water, and geotechnical disciplines.
Prepare technical reports and participate in design reviews with permitting authorities, clients, and contractors.
Provide construction-phase support, including RFI responses, submittals, change orders, and QA/QC for a range of BESS projects.
Mentor junior engineers, support business development, and adapt to fast-paced environments while maintaining strong communication and travel as needed up to 10%.
