An AEM backend developer designs and maintains AEM components, templates, workflows, and OSGi services using Java and the Sling framework. They collaborate with UI teams to integrate front-end code into AEM, ensuring a responsive user experience. The role involves integrating AEM with other Adobe Experience Cloud products and core systems via APIs, as well as participating in deployment, testing, and troubleshooting in AEM environments. Candidates should ensure adherence to best practices for code quality, security, and performance in an Agile setting. Technical skills required include AEM components, core development, and related technologies, with knowledge of Azure being advantageous. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success.
