An IT Support Specialist in Manchester provides 1st and 2nd level support to on-site users, handling joiner, mover, and leaver processes with ServiceNow and managing software deployment using SCCM. The role involves installing and maintaining client hardware such as desktops, laptops, VoIP phones, tablets, and printers, alongside server hardware and virtual machines. Network support includes LAN management and WAN monitoring, with responsibilities for server rooms and mobile devices, primarily iOS. Asset and licence management as well as vulnerability assessment for software and hardware are key tasks, alongside contributing to IT projects. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications, technical skills in hardware and software, and have good analytical, communication, and team skills, with flexibility to travel as necessary.
