De functie
A Mechanical Engineer with expertise in finite element analysis is sought to join a dynamic organisation in Boston, offering involvement in consulting projects related to the design, analysis, and optimisation of turbomachinery components. The role involves creating finite element models, conducting static, transient, modal, shock, and fatigue analyses, and interpreting results to assess machine reliability. Candidates should have a BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5 to 10 years of structural analysis experience, and proficiency with commercial FEA software such as ANSYS Mechanical or Siemens Simcenter. Knowledge of CAD tools and background in turbomachinery is preferred, alongside the ability to work independently and apply advanced technical principles.
