The role
Provide strategic IP counseling on trademark, copyright, defamation, and right of publicity for entertainment properties and experiences.
Advise on IP aspects of agreements and business initiatives; conduct clearance and prosecution; supervise IP paralegals and coordinate with outside counsel internationally.
Assess complex rights questions arising from theme parks, cruises, resorts, attractions, live experiences, and consumer products; advise on emerging technologies IP issues.
Educate business units on IP topics, present findings to management, and manage risk with sound judgment.
Collaborate across teams, manage deadlines, and contribute to a fast-paced, globally integrated legal function.
Requires California Bar admission or willingness to register as In-House Counsel; 5+ years IP experience in transactional or litigation roles.
