The role
Lead and design high-quality, large-scale enterprise search applications using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Java, and real-time indexing.
Own end-to-end performance, including latency optimization, shard planning, caching, and cluster health, while ensuring secure coding practices.
Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into effective search features, relevance scoring, and semantic search enhancements.
Build scalable ingestion frameworks for real-time indexing and implement observability with monitoring, dashboards, and profiling.
Mentor and lead engineers, promote Agile/CI/CD practices, and contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews.
Incorporate GenAI technologies and LLMs to deliver innovative search experiences and outcomes.
