Legal Secretary (Complaints & Resolution)
Act as minute-taker for panels and disciplinary hearings (virtual and occasional in-person), producing accurate and impartial records. Draft outcome letters and decisions aligned with panel findings and legal procedures. Record outcomes within internal systems to support reporting and publication. Develop and improve procedural templates to enhance clarity and consistency. Provide legal, procedural and administrative support to the Complaints Team, including legal assessors, managers, presenting officers and panel members. Coordinate paperwork and case files throughout the complaints process. Apply professional standards, codes of conduct, and disciplinary procedures consistently. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accessibility, and fairness while safeguarding independence and integrity of the function.
