The role
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems in construction projects.
Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work, quantities, and required materials.
Lead development of comprehensive cost management plans with project teams.
Analyze project requirements and provide value engineering options and cost risk analysis.
Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders; utilize industry-specific estimating software to prepare estimates.
Mentor junior estimators and ensure adherence to SOX controls where applicable; maintain up-to-date knowledge of estimating methodologies.
