Prepare detailed cost estimates for general build and refurbishment schemes valued £100k‑£3m. Review drawings, specifications and project documentation to identify scope, risks and constraints. Produce bills of quantities, take-offs and pricing schedules; liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive quotations. Evaluate returns, build robust comparisons, and contribute to tender strategy and bid submissions. Collaborate with delivery teams to hand over tenders and identify value‑engineering opportunities and commercial efficiencies. Maintain cost databases, ensure consistent pricing methodologies, and support client queries during tenders.
