The role
Own the technical vision and long-term roadmap for an exabyte-scale data lake storage platform.
Lead and grow a team building with cutting-edge open source tech, notably Apache Iceberg.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to architect data lake storage and metadata management for big data and ML/AI innovations.
Drive engagement with open source communities (Iceberg, Spark, Flink) to address scaling challenges and contribute back.
Champion technical quality and reliability, delivering polished, production-ready solutions.
Develop people and foster cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable impact through scalable design.
