The role
A UK-based infrastructure and engineering organisation is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team. The role involves advising on construction, engineering, and commercial contracts throughout their lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements such as NEC and JCT contracts. The successful candidate will provide practical legal advice to commercial and operational teams, supporting dispute resolution and risk management. Applicants should have strong experience in construction law, contracts, or disputes, with at least 6 years' PQE or equivalent. Familiarity with standard and bespoke contracts and stakeholder management skills are essential for this position.
