Adult Social Care Lawyer

Line 1: We are seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to provide expert advice and representation across adult social care matters. Line 2: Key responsibilities include Deprivation of Liberty, Court of Protection welfare and finance matters, safeguarding, ordinary residence determinations, and Mental Health Act guidance. Line 3: You will undertake advocacy in the Court of Protection and Civil Court and may conduct judicial reviews. Line 4: Supervision of junior staff and policy drafting/ guidance will also form part of the role. Line 5: A qualified Solicitor/Barrister/CILEx with a current practising certificate and demonstrated experience in adult social care is required. Line 6: This is a hybrid role within a local government legal team, offering flexible hours, generous leave, pension and other benefits.
