The role
Serve as the primary legal advisor on U.S. state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA) and evolving regulations, shaping the company’s privacy program.
Lead and maintain the U.S. privacy compliance program, including notices, consent mechanisms, opt-out frameworks, and data subject rights processes.
Develop and implement the AI governance framework, with policies for responsible AI use, vendor due diligence, and internal deployment standards.
Provide legal support for data security initiatives and incident response, including breach notification obligations and cross-functional coordination.
Draft, review, and negotiate privacy provisions in commercial agreements and technology contracts; partner with Privacy, Information Security, and Technology teams.
Deliver training on privacy, AI governance, and data security; monitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical guidance.
