The role
Develop and litigate novel civil rights impact cases advancing education and youth justice in the Deep South.
Lead case development, strategy, and collaboration with community organizations and partners to advance impact goals.
Research, draft legal memos and briefs, and present arguments in federal and state courts at trial and appellate levels.
Mentor junior attorneys and staff, and collaborate across ALITs and departments to drive campaigns.
Engage with judges, legislators, and community groups to defend public education, inclusive curricula, and students' rights.
Uphold JEDI principles by fostering diverse partnerships and delivering authentic, mission-driven work.
