The role
As a Sr. Software Engineer, Machine Learning (Search), you will design and implement ML-powered features, services, APIs, and models to enhance search, ranking, retrieval, and generative AI use-cases for a large-scale product.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Frontend Engineers to brainstorm and ship new features for a growing user base.
Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects with measurable business impact and own the long-term health of your features and systems.
Develop sustainable data collection pipelines and manage ML features, while supporting triage and resolution of production issues with operations and support teams.
Mentor other engineers, perform deep code reviews, and drive improvements in engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
Qualifications include proficiency in Python, Java, Go, Scala, or similar languages; experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, XGBoost, Scikit-learn); batch data pipelines (Spark, Airflow, Dagster, Luigi); and deployment of ML models to production, with familiarity in RAG, embeddings, vector stores, and NLP.
