The role
Provide analytical support for transportation programs across modes including small package, LTL, private fleet, dedicated, international, courier, truckload, rail, and expedited.
Develop, negotiate, and administer national transportation programs and respond to internal and external inquiries.
Analyze mode-specific service and cost metrics; create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting.
Ensure regulatory compliance at branches and distribution centers, including dangerous goods handling, packaging, and training documentation.
Assist with customs functions such as self-clearance, certificates of origin, and new customs initiatives; support cross-border programs.
Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; participate in LEAN initiatives and use SharePoint and transportation systems.
