The role
A Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing contractual negotiations and relationships with global suppliers, developing strategic sourcing plans, leading cross-functional procurement projects, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring supply chain risk mitigation. They must have experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement within regulated manufacturing environments. Technical expertise in electronic components and knowledge of procurement systems like SAP are highly desirable. The role involves working closely with various teams to ensure project success and supply assurance, with an emphasis on performance measurement and continuous improvement. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in procurement or supplier management.
