The role
A Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading contract negotiations and managing key supplier relationships, ensuring favourable terms and quality standards. They develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for electronic components and manufacturing services, alongside leading cross-functional projects to optimise procurement and manufacturing processes. The role includes building relationships with global suppliers, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should possess experience in regulated manufacturing environments and technical product knowledge, alongside strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems such as SAP and SAP Ariba is required, with additional skills in Power BI or advanced Excel highly desirable. The role involves working in a hybrid setting at the Cambridge site, requiring effective communication and cultural awareness across international teams.
