The role
Lead quantitative safety analytics and risk assessment for autonomous driving systems, leveraging proprietary and public data to inform safety strategy.
Develop statistical and probabilistic models to predict risks, guide hardware/software decisions, and mitigate incidents.
Model self-driving vehicle behaviors at the system and subsystem levels, and derive leading indicators for future performance forecasting.
Design automated data collection, analyses, dashboards, and reports to communicate risk, benchmarking, and anomalies to stakeholders.
Present findings to senior leadership and external audiences; mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Shape safety research strategy through benchmark studies, industry frameworks, and clear, actionable recommendations.
