The role
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with weekly unit plans in a center-based setting.
Safely supervise children and collaborate with a Teacher's Assistant to complete tasks.
Create an inclusive, learner-centered environment addressing diverse abilities with effective classroom management.
Partner with families and community to help each child reach their highest potential.
Provide relevant feedback, document significant findings, and report progress on an ongoing basis.
Meet lead teacher requirements by pursuing New York State Early Childhood certification or equivalent credentials.
