The role

Interpret spoken and written English and Spanish for courtroom and related proceedings within the 20th Judicial Circuit (Lee and Collier Counties).
Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation during arraignments, preliminary hearings, pre-trial conferences, and trials.
Translate documents, maintain accurate terminology, and support documentation and research for interpretation needs.
Collaborate with judges, attorneys, and court staff to ensure clear communication and strict adherence to court procedures.
Meet certification requirements (CICRP registration, OSCA certification) and complete biennial continuing interpreter education, with a valid Florida driver’s license.
Compensation includes applicable pay with eligibility for the Competitive Area Differential (CAD) up to $3,932.04 annually.
