The role
Design and develop high-efficiency switch-mode power supply architectures for embedded processing, RF/EO DSP, and data links.
Lead concept-to-production efforts, including circuit design, prototyping, testing, and integration with system and hardware teams.
Verify designs through SPICE simulations, laboratory testing, and qualification against electrical, environmental, and EMI/EMC requirements.
Translate performance specifications into hardware requirements, control documentation, and test plans.
Maintain design documentation and configuration management across the product lifecycle; collaborate cross-functionally and mentor teammates.
Comply with DoD standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., MIL-STD-series, DO-160, TEMPEST) and participate in on-site work with occasional travel.
