The role
Line 1: Design and implement large-scale ML systems for ads, including search ranking, semantic retrieval, and personalized product discovery.
Line 2: Apply state-of-the-art techniques such as transformer-based models, contrastive learning, embedding-based retrieval, and vector search.
Line 3: Drive innovation in relevance and user intent modeling using large language models (LLMs), embeddings, and multi-modal learning.
Line 4: Build and optimize ML pipelines using Apache Spark, Airflow, Kubeflow, and MLflow, ensuring reproducibility, scalability, and operational excellence.
Line 5: Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate model impact and identify high-leverage opportunities for improvement.
Line 6: Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering and data science teams to align technical solutions with business goals and customer experience; mentor and grow engineering talent; operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, global environment.
