The role
The Estimator leads project estimating efforts across a range of project types and sizes, collaborating with the preconstruction team, operations, design partners, and subcontractors.
Prepare accurate cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services across multiple disciplines.
Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to identify scope, constructability, cost drivers, and risks; perform detailed quantity takeoffs.
Develop preliminary and detailed cost models, create bid packages, and coordinate procurement strategies for competitive bids.
Manage subcontractor outreach, issue bid invitations, review bids, respond to RFIs, and support value engineering and cost-effective alternatives.
Produce estimating reports, monitor market conditions, and provide cost insights to project managers throughout planning, buyout, and early construction.
