The role
Represent clients and litigate in administrative, state, and federal forums, focusing on housing rights, family law, and temporary protective orders for survivors of domestic violence.
Manage a caseload in Henry and Newton counties as part of the Piedmont Regional Office.
Prepare and file legal documents including advice letters, briefs, motions, and memoranda; provide client-centered representation.
Conduct community legal education sessions and outreach to improve access to justice for low-income Georgians.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in action teams addressing systemic issues affecting clients.
Requirements include JD from an accredited law school, Georgia Bar admission, at least 3 years of attorney experience, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work independently; Spanish is a plus; valid driver's license; proficient in Microsoft Office.
