The role
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on plans and specifications, including quantity takeoffs for materials and labor.
Collaborate with project managers to establish budgets and evaluate subcontractor bids to secure cost-effective terms.
Monitor project costs, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions while conducting value engineering to optimize expenditures.
Develop and maintain construction schedules to ensure timely delivery and manage associated risks.
Support forensic analysis and litigation advisory as part of the construction practice, applying budgeting and scheduling expertise.
Required qualifications include a BS in Construction Management, a valid Florida GC license, proven estimating experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.
