Group Head of HR Policy and Employee Relations
Lead a team of HR professionals to shape flexible, integrated policy and employee relations strategies aligned with departmental objectives. Manage relationships with the Departmental Trade Union side and key stakeholders across the DfT Group. Use project management techniques to track, monitor, and prioritise workstreams and ensure timely delivery. Provide expert advice to HR colleagues, shared services, and stakeholders to enable successful policy implementation. Oversee a 12-month project to refresh existing HR policies and collaborate with the HR Data, Technology & AI Lab to implement AI-enabled self-service for staff. Lead with autonomy in a dynamic environment, influencing decisions and delivering high-quality HR policy outcomes.
