A Network Engineer position involves supporting and troubleshooting network and security solutions, managing infrastructure changes, and maintaining technical documentation within a managed services environment. The role requires diagnosing network issues, implementing upgrades, and managing vendor escalations. Candidates should possess proven networking experience, with skills in firewalls, VPNs, and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark. Flexibility across a range of technologies, mentoring abilities, and a methodical approach are essential. A CCNA certification and experience with Cisco and Meraki technologies are highly desirable, alongside a valid driving licence for potential travel.
