Le poste
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support the surgical team across two ophthalmic specialties, performing pre-operative tests and assisting at consent appointments.
Discharge patients with post-procedure eye-care instructions, update medical records, and arrange follow-up appointments.
Operate as a laser technician, preparing and calibrating lasers and managing data for safe procedures.
Coordinate patient flow on consent and surgery days, handle queries, and assist the surgeon as a scrub assistant where applicable.
Participate in theatre tasks including instrument decontamination, end-of-day reporting, and stock management.
Commit to patient safety, quality standards, incident reporting, and regular travel to other clinics where required (travel costs covered).
