A QA Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing automation test strategies for web and mobile applications in a dynamic environment. The role involves setting up automation frameworks from the ground up using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript. The engineer will design and execute comprehensive test plans, identify issues, and optimise testing processes, often working independently in a greenfield setting. Technical skills required include experience with automation tools, framework creation, and test strategy development. Strong organisational skills, adaptability, and proactive communication are essential to integrate with cross-functional teams effectively.
