Le poste
A procurement specialist in Birmingham is responsible for developing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ordering materials for manufacturing operations. They ensure stock levels are optimised and costs are controlled while maintaining efficient inventory levels. The role involves raising purchase orders, validating supplier invoices, and providing feedback on pricing changes to assist cost management. The specialist will monitor order status, maintain supplier databases, and collaborate with other departments to identify procurement needs. They should have proven procurement experience, knowledge of supply processes, and a full driving licence; CIPS qualification is advantageous. The position is office-based, working Monday to Friday, 37.7 hours per week.
