Le poste
The position is based at Leighton Hospital in Crewe, requiring a specialist in elderly care with full GMC registration and Licence to Practise. The role involves managing a full range of frailty and elderly presentations, demonstrating advanced clinical skills and team leadership. The doctor will work independently within the Care of the Elderly and Frailty Service, adhering to national clinical standards and developing evidence-based practices. Candidates need broad experience in elderly patient management, research, audit, and teaching, with strong interpersonal skills. The post supports full-time or job share arrangements and includes responsibilities across hospital and community services in Cheshire. It offers a permanent contract with a salary range of £104,401 to £115,341 per year pro rata, subject to full UK registration and DBS clearance.
