Le poste
Under general supervision, the Budget & Financial Analyst performs professional financial and budget analysis, preparing and reconciling budgeting records.
Leads the preparation and administration of the annual operating budget, the capital improvement budget, mid-year updates, and budget amendments.
Manages budget performance systems, provides procedures for budget input, and assists in long-range financial planning.
Conducts analytical studies on complex fiscal issues and analyzes proposals for immediate and long-term policy and fiscal impacts citywide.
Produces management reports, supports organizational performance reviews, and contributes to the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (ACFR) and audits.
Provides technical guidance, supports year-end closing and internal controls, and may supervise junior staff.
