A cloud engineer in London will design, build, and maintain advanced Kubernetes platforms supporting multiple development teams and processing over a billion transactions annually. The role involves working with technologies such as Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, Flux, Helm, EKS, and ELK, alongside coding with Python, TypeScript, and Golang. Candidates should possess skills in cloud architecture, container management, and scripting, with the ability to manage complex systems and ensure high availability. Knowledge of event-driven architecture and microservices is essential. The work environment offers a remote-first policy with flexible hours, enabling efficient work-life balance. This position requires a proactive approach to technical challenges and excellent collaboration skills.
