Le poste
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Environmental, or Civil) and focuses on analyzing and ensuring regulatory compliance within a manufacturing plant across air, water, or waste.
Performs internal environmental audits and provides regulatory guidance to plant management.
Drafts applications for plant environmental operating permits and assesses the impact of regulatory changes.
Leads implementation of new regulatory requirements with maintenance and operations; interfaces with state and federal agencies on permits, inspections, and other regulatory matters.
Audits and maintains the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and prepares required environmental reports.
Supports environmental emergencies 24/7 and serves as an in-plant escort for regulatory inspectors.
