A senior Android engineer is sought to join a growing FinTech team in Leeds, specialising in mobile app development using Kotlin and Jetpack. The role involves taking ownership of end-to-end project components, identifying issues early, and contributing to technical improvements through collaboration and mentoring. Candidates should have strong commercial experience with Android and Kotlin, a good understanding of concurrency, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of AI integration and experience in regulated environments like banking or payments would be advantageous. The position offers hybrid working, with scope for development into leadership or management roles. Responsibilities include working on modern Android apps, CI/CD, testing, and problem-solving in a collaborative environment.
